Brutal vinyl edition of “Le Secret” in its definitive reissue released by Prophecy, the mythical EP by French outfit Alcest, long out of print until then, a key and foundational work in which Neige laid the groundwork for the entire emotional, ethereal and spiritual universe he would later develop on albums such as “Souvenirs d’un autre monde” and “Écailles de lune”. Originally released in 2005, “Le Secret” reveals the starting point of Alcest, where the most primitive black metal elements coexist with luminous melodies, dreamlike atmospheres and a deeply introspective sensitivity, shaping a sound that was both unique and visionary. This expanded edition brings together the original EP alongside its later re-recording, allowing listeners to fully appreciate the project’s early evolution and its transition toward a more personal and transcendent musical language. Intense, emotive and steeped in mysticism, “Le Secret” is an essential piece for understanding the origins of blackgaze and the birth of one of the most influential proposals in modern atmospheric metal.

This version comes presented on black vinyl and housed in a deluxe sleeve, also including a double-sided printed inner sleeve and a poster.
