Last available copies of this wonderful vinyl edition of “Thousands of Moons Ago / The Gates”, the highly interesting split album between Ukrainian band Drudkh and British masters Winterfylleth, bringing together two of the most representative formations of European atmospheric black metal in a release that reinforces their aesthetic and conceptual affinities. Drudkh contributes three cover versions of classics by Hefeystos, Unclean and Sacrilegium, while Winterfylleth closes side B with an outstanding reinterpretation of the Hate Forest classic “The Gates” (the solo project of Roman Saenko), shaping a release centered on tributes and reinterpretations that further strengthen the stylistic links between both bands.
