Sixth full-length studio album from the Brazilian legends Sepultura, which involved the final confirmation of their change of style, a pack of songs playing a kind of groove metal in the vein of Pantera but, of course, filled of those one hundred per cent Brazilian tribal instruments and rhythms that they started to introduce in their previous work “Chaos A.D.”... so “Roots” is a totally close album to their most deepest roots, in which the band experimented looking for a new horizon for their music, at the end it become in their last great album before they fall into nu-metal sounds...
