Last copies of this astonishing vinyl edition “Unsettling Whispers”, the debut full-length from the revolutionary Gaerea, an album that took the immense promise of their self-titled debut EP and turned it into something far more ambitious and compelling, laying the foundations for an increasingly ambitious and distinctive sound within the contemporary black metal scene.

Across seven expansive compositions, Gaerea unleash a fierce, all-enveloping sound, shifting between furious barrages of blast beats and razor-sharp guitar work, passages of haunting melodic beauty, dissonant developments and dense atmospheres touched by elements of sludge and hardcore, shaping an album of tremendous emotional intensity that masterfully brings together violence and desolation without ever losing sight of melody.

From the mounting tension of “Svn” to the devastating climax of “Catharsis”, “Unsettling Whispers” marked the first major step forward for a band who would soon carve out their own place on the international scene, an essential release for those drawn to atmospheric, dark and adventurous black metal, unafraid to explore new territory whilst remaining true to their very essence.

This version, limited to only 350 copies worldwide, comes presented on silver and black marbled vinyl and deluxe gatefold sleeve with soft touch matt laminate...
